This point twill pattern was originally woven by Jacob Angstadt in Union County, PA some time prior to 1834. Starting in the mid 1700's, Johann Angstadt taught his three sons the weaving trade, who in turn, taught their nephew Jacob.
 
Point twill is a medium weight coverlet. 
 
Our replica is woven on a vintage shuttle loom, on a Hemp colored warp for a rustic appeal. We produce our coverlets using the same method as the originals. They are woven in strips and seamed together up the middle.
 
We use two strips for a Queen coverlet and three for a King.
 
In your choice of Black, Brick, Brown, Navy, or Hemp on a Hemp colored background.
